We are expanding our presence in the EU market and are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our team.
Job Summary
As a Business Development Executive, you will play a pivotal role in driving new business opportunities in the EU market. Your primary focus will be on identifying potential clients, building relationships, and promoting BSS Commerce’s outsourcing and custom software development services. You will be responsible for preparing sales materials, documents, and proposals to support the sales process.
This role requires a proactive mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. Knowledge of European languages such as French, Spanish, or German will be a significant advantage.
Key Responsibilities
1. Market Research and Lead Generation:
- Identify and research potential clients in the EU market.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
2. Sales Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets in the EU region.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospects.
3. Client Engagement:
- Initiate contact with potential clients through emails, calls, and networking.
- Conduct meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations to showcase BSS Commerce’s services.
4. Sales Material Preparation:
- Prepare and customize sales materials, including proposals, case studies, and presentations.
- Collaborate with the marketing and technical teams to ensure materials are accurate and compelling.
5. Relationship Building:
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients during the initial stages of the sales process.
6. Language and Communication:
- Utilize professional English communication skills to engage with clients.
- Leverage knowledge of French, Spanish, or German to connect with clients in their native language (preferred).
7. Reporting and Analysis:
- Track and report on sales activities, pipeline, and results.
- Provide regular updates to the management team on progress and challenges.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field.
- Proven at least 3-year experience in business development, sales, or a similar role, preferably in the IT outsourcing or software development industry.
- Strong understanding of the EU market and business culture.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English.
- Knowledge of French, Spanish, or German is a plus.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and target-driven mindset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.
