Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to join the Service Department at BSS Commerce. The Sales Manager will play a critical role in leading our sales team to achieve targets, optimizing sales processes, and ensuring seamless documentation and workflow management.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of sales strategies, and a passion for process improvement. This position will focus on standardizing sales procedures, ensuring compliance with best practices, and providing excellent service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Process Standardization:

  • Develop and implement standardized sales processes, ensuring alignment across the team and improving overall efficiency.
  • Continuously evaluate the sales pipeline, identify bottlenecks, and implement strategies to streamline sales activities.
  • Collaborate with other departments (e.g., marketing, customer service) to ensure seamless transition from lead generation to post-sale support.

Sales Documentation Management:

  • Create, maintain, and optimize sales documents, including proposals, contracts, and service-level agreements (SLAs).
  • Ensure all sales-related documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible to the team.
  • Develop templates for sales documents and ensure they adhere to company standards.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Lead and mentor the Service Department sales team to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and coaching sessions to ensure the professional growth of team members.
  • Foster a positive team culture that promotes collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Sales Reporting and Analysis:

  • Monitor sales metrics and performance indicators, providing regular reports to senior management.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends, potential improvements, and growth opportunities.
  • Provide actionable insights to optimize the sales strategy and improve overall performance.

Sales Training and Onboarding:

  • Develop and implement training materials to onboard new sales team members.
  • Provide ongoing training to ensure the sales team is equipped with the latest product knowledge and industry best practices.

Process Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation in the sales workflow.
  • Ensure that the sales team is using the CRM and other sales tools effectively and consistently.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Oversee the post-sale process to ensure clients are satisfied with the services provided and resolve any concerns or issues that arise.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in sales, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role, preferably in the IT outsourcing or software development industry.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes and documentation management.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English.
  • Ability to develop, implement, and optimize sales processes and documentation.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Highly organized with an attention to detail.
  • Solution-oriented and proactive in identifying challenges and opportunities.
