About the Role

We are looking for a Product Management Assistant to join the Maximize Theme team and support the delivery process of Shopify theme development.

This role is primarily focused on execution, requirement handling, and cross-functional coordination — ensuring product requests are properly received, analyzed, translated into actionable tasks, and delivered with quality and on schedule.

You will work closely with Product Owners, Developers, and QA teams to:

  • Understand incoming requests,
  • Analyze business and implementation needs,
  • Propose suitable solutions or implementation approaches,
  • And ensure smooth end-to-end delivery execution.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, clarify, and analyze incoming product requests from internal stakeholders or Product Owners
  • Support solution exploration by discussing implementation approaches, edge cases, and feasibility with technical teams
  • Break down requirements into clear tasks, user stories, and acceptance criteria for development and QA teams
  • Maintain and organize backlog, tickets, and delivery documentation
  • Coordinate closely with Developers and QA to ensure requirements are clearly understood and implemented correctly
  • Track development progress and proactively identify blockers, risks, dependencies, or timeline issues
  • Support sprint execution and delivery management to ensure features are shipped on time and within scope
  • Review completed tasks against defined requirements before QA/release
  • Communicate delivery status, risks, and dependencies to Product Owners and stakeholders
  • Contribute to improving internal delivery workflows and collaboration processes

Requirements

  • Strong logical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and coordination abilities
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to analyze requests and break down complex requirements into actionable tasks
  • Basic understanding of software development workflows and Agile/Scrum processes
  • Comfortable working closely with technical teams
  • Ability to proactively identify risks, unclear requirements, or delivery gaps

  • Experience working with Shopify or eCommerce products
  • Familiarity with Jira, Trello, or similar project management tools
