Our vision is to centralize B2B wholesale workflows in one all-in-one solution on Shopify.
We are looking for a Junior Product Designer to support the team in designing clear, modern, and consistent experiences across the B2B Suite.
Role Overview
As a Junior Product Designer, you will work with Senior Product Designer and Product Managers to:
- Turn requirements into simple flows, wireframes, and UI screens
- Improve existing layouts in our Shopify apps (admin & storefront)
- Help maintain a unified B2B Suite design system
This is a learning-focused role with high exposure to real global SaaS products.
Key Responsibilities
1. Design Support for B2B Suite
- Create user flows, low/mid-fidelity wireframes, and UI screens in Figma.
- Support design for: pricing setup, rules configuration, onboarding, dashboards, Quick Order, RFQ, etc.
- Adapt designs to both Shopify Admin and storefront UI.
2. Design System & Components
- Help maintain the B2B Suite design system (colors, typography, components).
- Reuse and improve existing components based on Shopify Polaris patterns.
- Prepare design specs and assets for developers.
3. Collaboration & Handoff
- Work closely with Product Managers, Developers, and QA in sprints.
- Prepare clean Figma files with clear annotations for dev handoff.
- Join design reviews and incorporate feedback.
4. Research & UX Improvements
- Support basic UX research: review merchant feedback, competitor UI, and patterns.
- Suggest small UX improvements (labels, layout, hierarchy) to make flows easier to understand.
Requirements
Must-Have
- At least 1 year of experience in UI/UX, or 6 months in a Product Design role (internship or freelance experience accepted).
- Portfolio showing app/SaaS/eCommerce design work, not only landing pages.
- Proficiency in Figma (auto layout, components, basic prototyping).
- Understanding of basic UX principles: clarity, hierarchy, consistency.
- Willingness to learn about B2B workflows, pricing, and rules-based UI.
- Good communication and ability to receive & apply feedback.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience with Shopify, eCommerce, or admin dashboards.
- Familiarity with Shopify Polaris or other design systems.
- Basic understanding of Agile/Scrum environment.
- Comfortable reading simple flow charts or diagrams.
