We are seeking an experienced Head of Digital Marketing Services to lead client success, strategic consulting, and service delivery across our digital marketing accounts.

This role combines commercial, consulting, and project leadership responsibilities. You will act as a trusted advisor to clients, helping them define growth strategies, translating business objectives into actionable marketing plans, supporting new business opportunities, and ensuring successful delivery across SEO, Paid Media, CRO, Content, Analytics, and Digital Growth services.

The ideal candidate is comfortable speaking with C-level stakeholders, identifying growth opportunities, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and driving measurable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Lead client strategy and consulting

  • Act as the strategic lead for key accounts, owning the relationship with senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Get to the heart of each client’s business goals, challenges and growth priorities.
  • Work with channel specialists to build digital growth roadmaps spanning SEO, Paid Media, CRO, Analytics, AI/GEO and Content.
  • Identify opportunities to lift traffic, conversion, acquisition, retention and profitability, and make the case for them.

Own client success and account health

  • Run weekly and monthly client meetings, presenting performance, insight, recommendations and next steps.
  • Keep communication clear and expectations well-managed throughout each engagement.
  • Be the primary escalation point for client concerns and delivery issues.
  • Make sure clients get proactive strategic guidance, not just operational reporting.
  • Protect and grow satisfaction, retention and account value..

Drive delivery across teams

  • Coordinate internal specialists across SEO, Paid Media, Content, CRO, Analytics and Design.
  • Keep projects on time, in scope and aligned to client objectives.
  • Prioritise people and resources across multiple accounts, and flag conflicts early.
  • Monitor risk and resolve problems before they reach the client.
  • Hold delivery teams accountable for quality.

Build the team and the practice

  • Mentor and support digital marketing specialists and account managers.
  • Establish the processes, frameworks and best practices that make client service repeatable and excellent.
  • Support development through coaching, training and knowledge sharing.
  • Contribute to service innovation and the agency’s wider growth.

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • 7+ years of experience in digital marketing, ecommerce, or agency consulting.
  • Strong working knowledge across SEO, Paid Media, CRO, Analytics, Content Marketing and ecommerce.
  • A track record managing multiple client accounts and senior stakeholders.
  • Experience supporting business development and proposals.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness and a problem-solver’s instinct.

Nice to have

  • Direct experience with ecommerce brands and platforms (Adobe Commerce/Magento, Shopify).
  • Background in an agency or consultancy.
  • Hands-on familiarity with GA4, Google Ads, Meta Ads and marketing automation tools.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams.
