BSS Commerce is a leading provider of Shopify Apps solutions, helping eCommerce businesses optimize their operations and increase revenue. We are looking for a Senior Business Development with deep expertise in selling Shopify Apps to drive growth and expand our customer base.
Job Description
- Develop and execute a business development strategy to drive sales and revenue growth for our Shopify App and SaaS products.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with Shopify merchants, agencies, and eCommerce businesses to generate new business opportunities.
- Lead end-to-end sales cycles, from prospecting to closing deals.
- Research market trends, competitor products, and customer needs to identify new opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with key stakeholders in the Shopify ecosystem.
- Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to align business strategies with customer demands.
- Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and performance metrics to track and optimize sales efforts.
- Represent the company at industry events, webinars, and networking opportunities to build brand awareness.
- Join industry events and host webinars to acquire and nurture leads.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 4+ years in Business Development, Sales, or Partnerships with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Skills: Exceptional negotiation, communication, and relationship-building abilities; Strong analytical skills to assess market opportunities and sales performance.
- Sales Expertise: Experience managing the full sales cycle, including lead generation and closing deals.
- Independence & Adaptability: Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, growth-driven environment.
- Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the potential to build and manage a business development team in the future.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot) is a plus.
- Language: Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal (IELTS 7.0)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience managing the full sales cycle, from lead generation to deal closure.
- Previous leadership experience with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
