Role Overview

We’re looking for a Senior Fullstack Magento 2 Developer to build and maintain high-performance eCommerce solutions across both backend and frontend — from custom modules and API integrations to Hyvä-based storefronts. Shopify experience is a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize Magento 2 backend modules, APIs, and third-party integrations (ERP, CRM, payment gateways).
  • Build and customize Magento 2 frontend using Hyvä themes, Tailwind CSS, and GraphQL/API integration.
  • Ensure performance, scalability, and reliability across the full stack.
  • Translate Figma designs into functional, responsive Magento templates.
  • Write clean, well-documented code following SOLID principles and Magento coding standards.
  • Conduct code reviews and troubleshoot issues across environments.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of Magento 2 development experience (backend and frontend).
  • Strong knowledge of Magento 2 architecture, module development, REST/GraphQL APIs, and DI.
  • Proven experience with Hyvä themes, Tailwind CSS, and Alpine.js.
  • Solid PHP, MySQL, and JavaScript (ES6+) skills; familiarity with EAV, indexing, and caching.
  • Experience with Git, CI/CD, Linux/CLI, and Agile workflows.
  • Good English communication skills.

Nice to Have

  • Shopify experience (backend or frontend).
  • Adobe Commerce Cloud setup/deployment knowledge.
  • Contributions to Magento Open Source community.
  • Familiarity with headless/microservices architecture.
