Job overview

We’re looking for a Content Marketing Specialist to help grow Magestore’s pipeline through content that attracts, educates, and converts B2B buyers. The primary focus is our Point of Sale solution for Magento merchants.

You’ll work alongside our SEO and content specialists, contributing to whichever channels the team is prioritizing: blog, landing pages, social, community platforms, and others. 

Responsibilities

Content creation

  • Write and edit content across formats: blog posts, landing pages, email copy, social posts, video scripts, and community content
  • Produce content that serves buyers at different stages, from awareness to evaluation to decision
  • Adapt tone, format, and depth to fit the channel and audience

SEO and conversion alignment

  • Write with SEO intent in mind: keyword placement, content structure, and on-page elements
  • Optimize content to support conversion goals, not just traffic
  • Collaborate with the SEO specialist to ensure content supports ranking and visibility targets

Content optimization

  • Track content performance and propose improvements based on data
  • Update and repurpose existing content where there’s clear upside

Cross-team collaboration

  • Work closely with the SEO and content team to align on strategy, briefs, and priorities
  • Coordinate with other stakeholders to gather product knowledge and customer insights when needed

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of content marketing experience writing for B2B software products targeting English-speaking markets. We expect solid writing skills and the ability to work independently on briefs with minimal hand-holding
  • Strong writing across formats: blog posts, landing pages, and short-form copy. Ability to shift register between educational and persuasive depending on the goal
  • Working knowledge of SEO fundamentals: keyword intent, content structure, and how writing decisions affect rankings and conversions
  • Analytical habit: you track how your content performs and use that to improve your next piece
  • Excellent written English: IELTS 7.0 writing or above, or equivalent demonstrated proficiency through work samples

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with the Magento, Shopify, or Adobe Commerce ecosystem
  • Experience writing for community platforms such as Reddit or YouTube
  • Experience with email marketing or sales collateral
