Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and maintain custom Shopify apps using Node.js, React, and Next.js.
  • Design and develop AI chatbot systems, integrating LLMs such as OpenAI and Gemini with frameworks like LangChain.
  • Build and optimize RAG pipelines, semantic/vector search, and LLM workflows for scalable, efficient, and high-quality AI responses.
  • Integrate with Shopify APIs (Admin API, Storefront API, Webhooks) and third-party services.
  • Collaborate with designers and product managers to deliver high-quality features and UX.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure optimal app performance.
  • Keep up to date with Shopify ecosystem updates, API changes, and new development tools.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience with JavaScript.
  • At least 6 months of hands-on experience in building Shopify apps.
  • Strong understanding of web technologies: HTML, CSS, SQL, and APIs (RESTful, GraphQL).
  • Familiarity with Git and modern development workflows.
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
