About the Role

We are looking for a proactive HR Generalist to support our growing, cross-border team. This role is recruitment-heavy and highly operational, with a strong focus on hiring for complex and new roles, while also owning core HR operations, C&B, performance processes, and culture-building across EU and Vietnam teams.

You will work closely with hiring managers, leadership, and delivery teams to build scalable HR processes and ensure a smooth employee experience for both in-house and outstaff staff.

Key Responsibilities

1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition (≈60%)

  • Own the end-to-end recruitment process for high-complexity roles, including new and hard-to-fill positions (e.g. AI Engineers, technical delivery roles).
    Proactively hunt and source candidates via LinkedIn, communities, referrals, and other channels rather than relying only on inbound applicants.
  • Work with hiring managers to:
    • Clarify role requirements and expectations
    • Build clear recruitment processes and timelines
    • Translate unclear needs into well-structured job descriptions (JDs)
  • Coordinate interviews, manage candidate communication, and ensure a professional candidate experience.
  • Act as the main bridge between hiring managers and candidates throughout the hiring lifecycle.
  • Recommend improvements to recruitment workflows and tools as the company scales.

2. Compensation, Benefits & HR Operations (≈40%)

HR Operations & C&B

  • Manage leave management and HR administration for both:
    • Vietnam-based in-house employees
    • Outstaff or cross-border team members
  • Handle employee questions related to policies, leave, benefits, and HR procedures.
  • Draft, update, and maintain HR policies and internal documentation.
    Build clear HR reporting views and summaries for managers and leadership.

Performance Management & Feedback

  • Maintain and improve existing performance review and KPI processes for Marketing teams.
  • Collaborate with leadership to:
    • Design performance review frameworks and KPIs for Delivery / Engineering teams
    • Translate business and delivery goals into measurable performance criteria
  • Act as a connector between managers who lack HR insight and structured people processes.

Culture & Engagement

  • Build and maintain shared company culture across EU and Vietnam teams.
  • Organize and support cross-team cultural initiatives, communication rituals, and engagement activities.
  • Ensure continuous feedback flow between employees, managers, and leadership across regions.

Qualifications

Must-have

  • 3+ years of experience as an HR Generalist, HR Executive, or Recruiter with HR Ops exposure.
  • Strong hands-on experience in talent sourcing and hunting, especially for difficult or non-standard roles.
  • Ability to work with ambiguous requirements and proactively propose solutions.
  • Good understanding of HR operations, employee lifecycle, and basic C&B practices.
  • Strong communication skills and confidence working with stakeholders across cultures and regions.

Nice-to-have

  • Experience hiring tech, AI, engineering, or delivery roles.
  • Experience working with distributed or international teams (EU–Asia is a plus).
  • Ability to design or improve performance review frameworks and KPIs.
  • Experience in fast-growing startups, agencies, or service-based companies.
