Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive, experienced, and strategic Business Analyst Lead to join our Services Team. This role will act as the critical bridge between clients, stakeholders, and our internal delivery teams while driving the digital transformation of our global client projects. The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical skills, deep eCommerce domain expertise, and visionary consultation abilities to help shape transformative digital roadmaps for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Transformation Leadership:
- Serve as a key contributor in driving eCommerce transformation for global clients, with the ability to consult, foresee future trends, and develop roadmaps for digital transformation initiatives.
- Advise clients on digital strategy, incorporating industry best practices and emerging technologies to optimize their online presence and operational performance.
Business Analysis & Documentation:
- Lead the Business Analysis function across multiple eCommerce projects by gathering, analyzing, and documenting comprehensive business requirements.
- Translate client needs into detailed functional specifications, user stories, and clear workflows.
- Develop and optimize templates for strategy and consulting services to ensure consistency, scalability, and excellence in our service delivery.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Developers, Designers, and QA teams to ensure a unified understanding of technical and business requirements.
- Facilitate workshops, demos, and requirement gathering sessions with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Support pre-sales activities by delivering insightful requirement analyses and producing technical documentation that aligns with client expectations.
Mentoring and Team Leadership:
- Mentor and guide junior Business Analysts, ensuring adherence to best practices and quality standards.
- Oversee project scope and requirement changes, managing impacts and keeping all documentation up-to-date.
Tools and Methodologies:
- Utilize industry-standard tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Trello, Lucidchart) to manage and document project workflows.
- Apply Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies as needed to optimize project execution and meet client deliverables.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Business Analyst with at least 2 years in a Lead or Senior role.
- Strong expertise in managing eCommerce projects (experience with platforms such as Magento, Shopify, etc.).
- Demonstrated ability to consult and strategize digital transformation initiatives for global clients.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proven experience in requirement gathering, process modeling, and creating functional specifications.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies.
- Proficiency with tools like Jira, Confluence, Trello, Lucidchart, etc.
Nice to Have:
- Deep understanding of UX/UI and customer journey mapping in eCommerce.
- Experience with ERP, CRM, payment gateways, and other third-party integrations.
- Background working in an agency or consultancy environment.
- Relevant Business Analysis certifications (e.g., CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA).
